Music Generation Offaly

Music Generation Offaly

Music Generation Offaly is a performance music education programme in County Offaly providing access to a range of vocal and instrumental music opportunities for children and young people in their local area.

We offer a range of programmes in schools, after-school hubs, youth work settings and community groups through subsidised lessons. We also have a large instrument bank offering affordable instrument hire to all of our learners.

Current school programmes include:

  • Kodály-inspired singing programme suitable for all classes, and can be tailored to suit the age and stage of students. Incorporating singing, music games, and classroom percussion, this programme sets a solid foundation in music through fun and interactive activities.
  • Whole class instrument programme – guitar, ukulele and violin suitable from 3rd class upwards and we provide instruments for each student.
  • Music in SEN settings – our dedicated musician educators provide inclusive music sessions suitable for all abilities.
  • Rock & Pop programme for secondary schools, which includes tuition in guitar, bass, drums, keyboards and vocals, along with song-writing and music production.
