Ard Scoil Chiaráin Naofa is a co-educational, multi-denominational, multicultural post-primary school located in Clara Co Offaly that developed from the merger in 1968 of St. Kieran’s Secondary School and Clara Vocational School.

Ard Scoil Chiarain Naofa promotes the holistic educational development of all within the school community. The school strives for academic excellence and aims to maximise the potential of each individual in a safe, caring and respectful environment.

A full range of subjects is on offer at both higher and ordinary level in the Junior and Leaving Certificate and the JCSP, LCA and LCVP programmes are also offered. The school also provides a very successful Transition Year programme.
